Working as a clinical associate with Cup-O-T has been a really good experience and has complimented my other professional roles. This is due to the flexibility and also the encouragement to use my full OT skill set. It has worked with my flexible working schedule and has allowed me to reach out to the team if needed. As well as the company having a great range of resources, the years of experience and knowledge within the team means that I have always felt supported and able to reach out if needed but also trusted to work independently. You can feel the passion and enthusiasm from all of the team and there is always a sense that things are growing and expanding and it has been great to be a small part of that. The onboarding was easy and invoices were always paid on time. What is really nice is that the company recognises the additional work that is completed between sessions. It also feels good to work with a company that has strong ethics and belief in young people which makes practicing both fulfilling and enjoyable. Even though I did not see the team frequently as I was school based, I was always included in the social and professional activities that were available.
