Every young person is unique, and so is the support they need.
At Cup-O-T, we provide a range of therapeutic services for children and young people aged 7–25, helping them build confidence, develop practical skills and improve their emotional wellbeing in ways that feel meaningful to them.
Whether someone would benefit from one-to-one therapy, the shared experience of a therapeutic group, or the connection and belonging of our community youth group, our focus is always the same: supporting young people to thrive.
Individual Therapy

When a young person needs personalised support, our individual therapy services provide a safe, compassionate space to explore challenges, develop coping strategies and work towards meaningful goals.
Every therapeutic journey begins with an initial assessment, allowing us to understand each young person’s strengths, needs and aspirations before recommending the most appropriate intervention.
Depending on individual needs, therapy may include Occupational Therapy, EMDR Therapy or a combination of approaches.
Individual therapy can support young people experiencing:
- Anxiety and low mood
- Emotional regulation difficulties
- Trauma and adverse life experiences
- Sensory processing differences
- Executive functioning challenges
- School attendance and participation
- Confidence and self-esteem
- Navigating the work with neurodivergence
- Identity, belonging and wellbeing

Therapeutic Groups
Sometimes support happens best alongside others
Our therapeutic groups combine evidence-based therapeutic approaches with meaningful activities, giving young people opportunities to learn new skills, develop confidence and realise they are not alone.

Each group has a clear therapeutic focus and is facilitated by experienced therapists within a supportive, welcoming environment.
Our groups may focus on:
- Emotional wellbeing
- Identity and belonging
- Interoception and emotional regulation
- Confidence building
- Nature-based therapy
- Creative and practical activities
- Developing social connections
Therapeutic groups provide a gentle stepping stone between one-to-one therapy and everyday life, allowing young people to practise new skills with the support of both therapists and peers.
