It’s been a battle with the weather to get the next window in. But finally between rain and drizzle we have done it!
This side window is for the kitchen area and has a sliding pane. As with all of the windows it is tinted, so there’s privacy from the outside but plenty of light and scenery to look at from the inside.
It’s always the scary bit first – cutting the right size hole for the window, Joe is becoming quite the pro at this. A good thing too, as the next one is for the ceiling!
And here’s the finished work, with my cheesy face hanging out of the window – looking a little tired as I’m full of a cold!
Love Wymondham Day
We’ve had two pieces of exciting news this week, I’ll be sharing them with you in the next post!
As always, if you can help us to keep going with the conversion by donating then please visit our Gofundme page here. We have estimated it will take £4000 to complete the conversion, we have raised just over £1000 at the moment, so still a fair way to go. The electrics alone are going to cost £900 so we need to raise some more quite quickly.
To help with this the amazing community in Wymondham are helping. On the 9th February it is Love Wymondham Day. Part of the celebrations is a craft and wellbeing fair in the Central Hall, Wymondham. They have kindly offered to donate the proceeds to the Cup-O-T therapy van conversion. We are over the moon at this and hugely grateful.
Stall holders will include crafters and a variety of therapists and organisations to help you with your health and wellbeing. There are still a few stalls available so please get in contact if you’d like more information. Visit the Facebook page for more information: Love Wymondham Day Event
Well that’s all for now. Keep an eye out for our next post which has 2 bits of exciting new in!
